Like Jesus, we are going into the desert. Not because deserts are empty — but because they are honest.

In the desert there are no distractions, no applause, no carefully curated identities. There is only truth: who we are, who God is, and who we are called to become. In the Gospel, Jesus does not enter the desert to escape life. He enters to understand his mission more deeply. There he wrestles, listens, prays, and emerges ready to live fully as the Beloved Son.

This retreat invites you to do the same.

Over the next six weeks, you will:

  • Pray daily with Scripture

  • Practice the Ignatian Examen twice each day

  • Spend time in imaginative prayer

  • Reflect on how God is working in your real, everyday life

You are not trying to “achieve holiness.” You are learning to notice God already at work within you.
