Family Discipleship

Family Discipleship is a new approach to faith formation that recognizes parents as the primary teachers of the faith. Rather than relying on a weekly classroom alone, this program invites the whole family to grow together as disciples of Jesus. Through shared learning, prayer, and conversation, parents and children deepen their relationship with Christ side by side, creating a faith that is lived not just at church, but in everyday family life. At its heart, Family Discipleship is about helping every member of the family continue the lifelong journey of becoming a disciple.

Grades 1–6
Family Discipleship
meets once each month on Sunday from 10:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Families begin by attending the 11:00 a.m. Mass together, followed by lunch, large-group catechesis, grade-level instruction, sacramental preparation, and parent formation with activities to continue at home throughout the month. Grades 1–3 and Grades 4–6 meet on alternating Sundays; the schedules are attached. Parent attendance is required.

Grades 7–8
The Way
meets twice each month on Sunday evenings from 5:00–7:00 p.m., leading into the 7:30 p.m. Mass. In preparation for Confirmation, students will participate in Alpha, study the Gospels, and discover how to live the Gospel through Catholic Social Teaching. A light dinner will be provided.
