We Believe In The Unbelievable

New Parishioner?

Although the Catholic Church worldwide will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany this coming weekend (January 3 & 4th), the Church of the Epiphany will have a special celebration of the arrival of the Three Kings on its official day--the twelfth day of Christmas, Tuesday evening January 6th, at 7pmThe feast is especially meaningful to us, of course, because it is our parish family's feast day.

Traditionally, the story of the (non-Jewish) Magi's journey has symbolized the inclusion of all nations in God's plan of redemption, with Jesus the Christ as Savior of all people. And to highlight that point (and make it all the more joyous) we will be celebrate it with a bilingual (Spanish and English) Mass at 7pm Tuesday evening.

Parts of the Mass will be prayed in English and parts in Spanish; we will have festive music from our Latino sisters and brothers; and to top it all off, we'll share a delicious meal catered by Casa Adela, the famous Lower East Side destination for authentic Latin food.

We joyfully invite you to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany (Día de los Reyes)  with us, as we continue our mission to renew our community and city with the light and love of Jesus.
